Industry standard in force, with Hengyuan as a principal drafter

YB/T 4250—2025, All-hydrogen bell annealing furnace for metallurgy, is a ferrous-metallurgy industry standard revised with Hengyuan Industrial Furnace (Jingjiang) Co., Ltd. and Jiangyin Hengyuan Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd. as principal drafting organizations. It replaces YB/T 4250—2011, was published on 17 December 2025 and took effect on 1 July 2026 as the technical basis for designing, building and accepting these furnaces.

From China's first domestically built all-hydrogen bell furnace in 2002, to drafting the original standard in 2011 and leading its 2025–2026 revision, Hengyuan has stayed at the front of China's all-hydrogen bell annealing technology.

Overseas orders move forward

Turnkey supply of all-hydrogen gas-fired bell annealing furnaces remained the core business, alongside revamps, spare parts and maintenance.

The all-hydrogen gas-fired bell annealing furnace for TENG LONG NEW MATERIALS SDN. BHD. in Malaysia entered final fabrication and shipment preparation, and the high-grade copper-alloy project for Boway in Morocco progressed in parallel.

All projects follow YB/T 4250—2025, with closed-loop management from design and procurement through assembly, factory inspection, site commissioning and operator training.

Key projects delivered

Foshan Jinxi Jinlan (16 bases, revamp): 16 all-hydrogen bell annealing furnaces for low-carbon, special-steel and IF-steel coils, including furnace equipment, pit civil works and a waste-hydrogen recovery system, controlled by Siemens S7-1500 PLCs with Hengyuan's own control software.

Jiangsu Kemao New Materials (32 bases): a complete all-hydrogen bell annealing plant for tinplate substrate, natural-gas fired with intelligent PLC control. Design, fabrication, installation, commissioning and performance acceptance are complete.

Fujian Guangmin Copper started up its 8-base bell annealing line, with Hengyuan supplying equipment, installation, commissioning and training. The 108,000 t/a all-hydrogen line at Qinhuangdao Shunxian Steel entered production for Q195, Q215 and SPCC, starting with Q195 black annealing.

The high-grade steel furnace for Yangjiang Jinhai Advanced Materials anneals tool steel, tinplate and stainless strip bright at up to 900 °C under nitrogen or hydrogen, with full interlocks for temperature, pressure, water loss and over-temperature. Rongtai Metal's 450,000 t/a bell-furnace plant also entered production this year.

Many sites in parallel

Site teams worked in parallel at a Russian stainless-steel project, NLMK in Russia, Foshan Jinxi Jinlan, Jiangyin Kemao, Qinhuangdao Hongteng, Ansteel, Ningbo Xingye Group and the Boway bell-furnace revamp, handling equipment setting, furnace assembly and piping tie-ins.

Equipment ready to ship and a new plant nearly complete

Equipment for the following projects is in the workshop awaiting staged shipment: MCC Capital Engineering · Henan Minfa; Ningbo Boway (Morocco); Guangdong Zhongsheng Group; Ansteel; MCC Capital Engineering · Shanxi Jingang; CITIC Group / CITIC Special Steel (Qingdao Special Steel); Suxun · TENG LONG Malaysia; Guangdong Yima Group high-grade steel project; Shagang Group · Zhongmei ultra-thin strip; and a two-base silicon-steel furnace for Tangshan Donggang.

Hengyuan's new 33,000 m² plant is nearly complete and will add R&D and manufacturing capacity. In the fourth quarter the company will coordinate manufacturing, logistics and site installation to meet its full-year targets.
